About the Role
We are seeking an Mechanical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will provide effective engineering services to the production team and respond to demands in a timely fashion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain equipment both proactively and reactively to ensure factory performance meets targets and KPIs.
* Improve equipment availability and performance to meet OEE targets through identifying and implementing improvements.
* Proactively use the PPM System (SAP) for the capture of all engineering labour and parts.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* NVQ level 3 or equivalent (Electrical).
* Qualifications recognised in the UK.
* Literacy/Numeracy to National Level 2 Standard.
You Will Deliver:
* Quality and accuracy in own work and standards.
* Cope under pressure and flex with peaks in personal workload.
* Anticipate/identify problems and use available resources to provide effective solutions.
* Act on decisions with the corresponding level of urgency.
Personal/Interpersonal Skills
Requirements:
* Good standard of written and spoken English.
* Experience in a food processing industry is desirable.
* Experience of poultry processing machinery is desirable.
