**The Role**
This is a great opportunity for a motivated finance professional to consolidate their commercial skills in a highly visible role, sitting in the finance Business Partnering Team.
This role is well suited to those looking to make their first step up to Finance Business Partner level, or someone already working as a Finance Business Partner who wants to gain more exposure and autonomy in a complex multinational.
With a dotted line to the Finance Director ANZ, your role will be pivotal in providing sound commercial advice to the Managing Directors of two different business units that sit within the group.
You will support each MD with financial planning and analysis activities including the provision of timely and insightful information to support decision making and strategic priorities of each business.
Key tasks will include:
- Support, from a finance/controlling perspective, Business Units and operational companies within their scope
- Support Managing Directors and Business Unit Managers with queries regarding business controlling/costs analysis and P&L; analysis/review
- Cost and profitability monitoring
- Monthly and quarterly deviation reporting
- Liaise with the Finance National Service Centre for monthly management account preparation
- Management and preparation of annual budgets and reforecasts
- Lead working capital analysis and improvements
- Evaluate business practices and implement recent procedures and guidelines
- Support the integration of acquisitions
- Support the business to ensure appropriate Business Units structure, and management of internal group requirements
- Participate in development of IT systems or solving IT issues between the operations and the accounting system
**Experience desired**
- A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in financial audit and/or financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other related business qualification.
- CA or CPA qualification, highly valued.
- Knowledge of TM1 or other budgeting software, is preferred.
- Strong commercial background with high end computer, analytical / numerical and organisational skills.
- Strong Excel skills
