The Wollongong office of Turner Freeman Lawyers has an exciting opportunity for a legal secretary/assistant to join our team.
The role is full-time, however part-time hours will be considered for the right candidate.
What you will bring to this role:
* Previous experience as a legal assistant/secretary
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Attention to detail
* Organisation and time management skills and ability to prioritise competing tasks and deadlines
* An interest in helping people
The successful applicant's duties will involve providing administrative support to a personal injury lawyer with their case load including
* Extensive client liaison both personal and over the telephone
* Communicating with third parties for requests for records and reports
* Preparation and typing of correspondence and court documents
* Preparation of briefs to counsel
* General administrative tasks as requested
