Job Description:
Develop a robust Risk Management Framework that enhances our organisation's business capabilities. Provide advisory support, conduct oversight and assurance activities, and deliver insightful risk reporting.
As an integral member of the Legal, Risk, and Compliance team, you will bring your expertise in building risk capabilities within a growing organisation. You will assist with framework delivery, utilising your skills in influence and collaboration to make a significant and positive impact on our employees, partners, and customers.
* Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the Risk Management Framework, encompassing risk and control self-assessment, control evaluation, assurance activities, operational risk incident management, scenario analysis, reporting, and other related areas.
* Assist with the development, delivery, and enhancement of risk practices, frameworks, standards, and policies that support the Risk Management Framework.
* Provide effective advisory support on risk management matters.
* Deliver risk oversight and assurance activities across the first line of defence.
* Guide and support business owners in the completion of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment and subsequent control testing.
* Assist with the integration of Group Risk strategies and structures into the company, managing stakeholder requirements and timelines.
* Prepare and deliver risk education and awareness programs to embed a risk-conscious culture throughout the organisation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

* A few years' of relevant / proven experience in a risk-related role with a regulator, financial institution, or similar entity.
* Knowledge of APRA prudential standards.
* Experience and knowledge of risk management methods and frameworks.
* Ability to build partnerships by collaborating and interacting both professionally and effectively, influencing outcomes.
* Continuous improvement mindset that simplifies complexity while adhering to standards and business requirements.
* Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
* Ability to build effective relationships with senior stakeholders across the organisation.
