Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, handle, and store resident meals in a safe and efficient manner
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or similar discipline
* Food Handlers Certificate
* Minimum 2 years experience in commercial chef environment with preference for Health or Aged Care facility
* Experience developing menus and working with multiple dietary requirements
* Extensive knowledge of health and safety legislation relating to food preparation, handling, and storage
* Demonstrated ability to set personal goals, pursue training, and adapt to competing priorities while working unsupervised
* Empathy for aged people, their families, and personal carers
