Brake Press Operator

Are you a skilled operator with experience bending sheet steel using press brakes and break presses? We are seeking a dedicated trades professional to join a high-performing metal fabrication workshop.
What You’ll Do
* Operate press brake / break press machinery to form and bend sheet metal according to engineering drawings and specifications.
* Set up tooling, adjust machine parameters, and align dies to ensure precision and repeatability.
* Read and interpret fabrication drawings, work orders, and bending schedules.
* Inspect finished parts for tolerances, dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and quality.
* Collaborate with fabrication, welding, and finishing teams to meet production targets.
* Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting of machines.
* Adhere to safety protocols, quality standards, and workshop procedures.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience operating press brakes, break presses, or similar sheet-metal forming equipment.
* Skilled in tool setup, die changes, and machine adjustment.
* Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication instructions.
* Attention to detail, consistency, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under supervision or autonomously.
* Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork mindset.
