Support Worker - Group Activities (Casuals)

About the Role
Unique casual opportunities are available in our Harman Park Social Centre based in Belmont. The Centre is dedicated to aiding clients who participate in centre and community‐based group social activities and empowers our senior citizens to maintain their independence while fostering meaningful connections within their community. This role reports to the Social Centre Coordinator.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities
- Plan and facilitate group activities for seniors
- Follow individualised support plans for each client
- Identify, report and document any concerns accurately
Qualifications
- Certificate III in Individual Support or similar
- The ability to work between 0800 - 1600
- Ability to work according to individualised support plans
- Accurate identification, reporting and documentation of concerns
- Light Rigid (LR) licence and ability to drive a 21‐seater coaster bus (or willingness to obtain within 3 months)
- Passenger Transport Driver Authorisation (or willingness to obtain within 3 months)
- National Police Clearance obtained within the last 6 months
