The Opportunity:
At CSR, our "One Team Australia-Pacific" Procurement function is a strategic enabler, dedicated to delivering competitive advantage to our businesses. We support this ambition through robust strategy, flawless execution, and a focus on continuous improvement.
To strengthen our Procurement capability, we are seeking a Procurement Processes Manager – a key role that will lead leveraging procurement and purchasing collaboration across our industrial and trade sites, as well as related user adoption for procurement digital processes, support the professional growth of our procurement teams.
Your Influence:
As the Procurement Processes Manager, you'll play a key role in strengthening CSR's Procurement function by:
Supporting Regional Buyers
Work closely with Regional Buyers and site teams to set regional tendering and deals, align on best practices, improve collaboration, and find cost-saving opportunities.
Leading Digital Procurement Tools
Roll out and support the use of key digital applications (e.g. eSourcing, eProcurement, Supplier Portal, eRating, …) to improve efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.
Developing Procurement Training
Help create and promote training programs that build procurement skills across the team, from sourcing and contracting to sustainable procurement and working with technical teams.
What we're looking for:
Strong Procurement Experience:
You have a solid background in Procurement or Purchasing, ideally within a multi-site or manufacturing environment. You understand the end-to-end procurement lifecycle and have experience managing complex processes and projects.
Digital & Systems Expertise:
You're confident working with digital procurement tools and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or similar). Experience with platforms such as eSourcing, eProcurement, or eContract management tools is highly valued. You can translate business needs into digital solutions and help others adopt them.
Change Management & Training Skills:
You're experienced in leading change, from launching new systems to running user training and support. You know how to engage stakeholders, encourage adoption, and ensure long-term success.
Analytical & Process-Oriented Thinking:
You bring strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse data, identify opportunities, and propose practical improvements. You have a continuous improvement mindset and enjoy making processes smarter, faster, and more efficient.
Excellent Communication & Collaboration:
You work well with diverse teams—from plant-level buyers to central procurement and digital teams. You're comfortable presenting ideas, running workshops, and influencing stakeholders across all levels of the business.
