Mayflower Dental Group has been serving the Cape Breton area for years. Our offices are in accessible locations and are dedicated patient-based clinics. We pride ourselves on providing optimal patient care to our patients and their families in a friendly and caring environment.
With our 7 clinic locations in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality – we are able to provide a solid internal patient referral program, dental hygiene program, excellent support system for expanding your skill set and the opportunity to learn among a very talented group of Dental Professionals. We use the most up to date equipment and technologies within our group of clinics. Our laboratory is located in our Mayflower Dental location in the Mayflower Mall, Sydney, NS and serves all seven of our locations needs.

Schedule:

Responsibilities:
8. Restoring or replacing natural teeth by fabricating crowns, fixed and removable bridges, dentures, and implant retained restorations
9. Producing models from physical dental impression molds or digital models via 3D printing
10. Constructing prosthetics from digital design platforms (inLab and 3Shape)
11. Manufacturing, glazing, and finishing dental prosthetics prior to placement by dentists
12. Ability to customize restorations with glazing and cut-back techniques
13. Adjusting dental prostheses and devices before final placements
14. Managing supply inventories, performing routine equipment maintenance, and facilitating repairs
15. Documenting processes and adhering to industry regulations and safety standards
16. Keeping up to date of advancements in the field of dental laboratory technologies and techniques
About You:
17. Accredited Dental Laboratory Technology program is required
18. Certified Dental Technician (CDT) preferred
19. 5+ years of experience as a dental laboratory technician preferred
20. In-depth knowledge of dental prostheses, devices, and related technologies
21. Experience in constructing, replacing, repairing, and restoring fixed and removable prosthetics
