Overview
Randstad are proud to partner with this large national manufacturing client with operations across Australia, as they search for an experienced Project Manager to lead a large-scale facilities relocation program from NSW to QLD.
The successful candidate will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of complex relocation projects, orchestrating site demobilization and new facility integration. Serving as the primary stakeholder liaison, you will manage cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure seamless delivery across various sites in NSW and QLD.
It is anticipated these relocations will take 18 months to complete, and will require frequent travel as the successful candidate spends time on the ground at multiple facilities across NSW and QLD.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage large-scale factory and warehouse relocations
* Oversee demobilisation, logistics, and site transition activities
* Coordinate internal stakeholders and external delivery partners
* Manage complex, multi-site projects across different locations
* Solve unique live site projects challenges and overcome operational constraints
* Monitor project timelines, budgets, and risk management
* Provide regular reporting and updates to senior leadership
* Ensure minimal disruption to business operations throughout relocations
Qualifications
It is expected that the successful candidates will possess strong oral/written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. They will display initiative, attention to detail, and have the ability to work autonomously and unsupervised.
