The School Photographer is looking for a dedicated and motivated people person to join our Victorian branch.
This is a customer facing, field based role, primarily working within schools and with staff and students to capture imagery for use in School Photography products.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, organised, friendly "people person" who enjoys early starts and working with children.
This role is split between photography and administrative tasks and requires the ability to work with both individuals and groups of 50+ students or staff.ResponsibilitiesWork in a field-based role across Melbourne Metro and Regional Victoria, primarily within schools.Capture imagery for School Photography products and perform related administrative tasks.Interact with staff, students and parents in a friendly, professional manner.Work with individuals and groups, including up to 50+ students or staff.QualificationsOutstanding verbal communication skillsFriendly, easy-going demeanour, especially with childrenCritical eye for detailFast learnerIndependent, proactive workerAbility to work under pressure with solid time managementAble to work effectively as part of a teamPunctual and well presentedPhysical fitness – the position involves lifting and carrying, often up stairsBasic computer skillsPhotography experience is preferred, but not requiredA current driver's license and a reliable carRequirements & DetailsThis is a field-based position—work during school terms only, tapering off in the 2nd half of the year.Candidates must be available Monday through Friday on a changing roster during school hours.Training will be provided before commencement and on an ongoing basis; one-week training in January in Werribee.A current Working With Children Check is required for this position.A generous car allowance and mileage is offered; tolls incurred for work-related travel are reimbursed.ApplicationPlease forward your cover letter and resume to (emailprotected)
