**About the Role**:
The Category Manager is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing Category Management strategies that improve and promote supply chain management for high volume, low risk and standardised items and deliver outcomes that align with department programs and business plans. The position will develop and manage tender processes and contracts for high volume, low risk and standardised items and provide specialist advice on procurement policy, procurement planning, contract formation and management requirements.
**Qualifications**:
**Essential**: Nil
**Desirable**: A relevant tertiary qualification; CIPS Diploma in Procurement and Supply or similar.

**Special Conditions**:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

**Remuneration**:
ASO7 $108,109 - 116,864 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading.
