Job Overview
A highly skilled and experienced Pipeline Engineer is required to lead our Engineering and Design processes for oil and gas pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop detailed design calculations for FEED studies
* Support the development of scoping documents including routing studies, construction methodology, and design criteria
* Participate in Risk assessment & SMS workshops
* Communicate effectively with Project Managers and Team Members to ensure Projects are delivered within scope, schedule, and quality standards
* Manage single-discipline projects
* Prepare cost estimates, equipment summaries, and tender packages
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering degrees
* Minimum 8 years' experience in pipeline design and associated assemblies
* Proven experience in Australian pipeline design including concept development, FEED, and detail design phases
* In-depth knowledge of AS2885 and other relevant Australian Standards, acts, regulations, and codes related to the pipeline industry
* Engineers Australia Chartered Engineer or equivalent registration
* Ability to perform engineering tasks with minimal supervision
* Ability to manage workload and utilisation of junior engineers
