Job Title: Electronic Engineering Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Electronic Engineering Specialist to join our team. As an Electronic Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing electronic/hardware systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop electronic/hardware systems and equipment
* Manage the engineering change process of electronic/hardware and Radio Frequency (RF) systems and equipment
* Work within a supportive electronic/hardware engineering team to turn contractual requirements and design ideas into operational products
* Develop new and existing products through the entire product lifecycle including requirements analysis, detailed design analysis, Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design, firmware development, performance analysis, and verification
* Collaborate effectively with customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, maintaining a positive culture within the program
* Act as a point of contact and provide technical advice on electronic/hardware engineering activities and the engineering methodologies performed
* Utilise hardware test tools effectively to undertake test, integration, and verification including diagnosing problems and analysing results
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A relevant tertiary engineering degree
* Experience with electronic/hardware product design and integration
* Knowledge of engineering design analysis techniques and development tools
* Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams
* Good problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and critical thinking skills
