About the Role
We are seeking a Fleet Engineer to oversee the safe and efficient operation of our vessels. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our fleet while assisting with daily operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Maintenance and Repair: Conduct regular inspections and repairs on engines, generators, pumps, and other machinery to ensure optimal performance.
* Electrical Systems: Maintain and repair electrical systems, including lighting, navigation, and communication equipment.
* Vessel Operations: Liaise with relevant personnel on vessel maintenance and operations, ensuring seamless day-to-day activities.
Safety First
* WH&S: Uphold the highest safety standards and comply with all relevant policies and procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Certification: MED II certification is mandatory.
* Experience: Minimum two years of experience in a similar role is required.
