Administration Assistant (Secondary School), Commencing Term 1, **** - Fulltime (1.0 FTE), Term Time Only
The College is seeking dynamic and organised Administration Assistant to join our dedicated Secondary School Administration team.
This position is responsible for the coordination of the College's Secondary School Teacher Relief system as directed by the Dean of Learning & Teaching.
This is a permanent full-time position working during term time only.
Hours are approximately 7:15 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities
Teacher relief: Responding in a timely manner to the notification of planned and unplanned staff absences to ensure classes are covered and documented.
Administration support: Providing administrative support to the Head of Secondary School, the Secondary Leadership team and the Secondary Administration team as directed by the Secondary Administration Manager.
Booklists: Facilitating the preparation of booklists through negotiation with Heads of Departments.
Professional learning development and growth: Assisting in the coordination and booking of professional development for staff as directed by the Principal and Secondary School Deans.
Practicum teacher placements: Liaising with the relevant staff including Teaching Staff, Heads of Departments, and the Dean of Teaching & Learning to coordinate placements and induction of practicum teachers.

The successful applicants will have:
A current Working with Children check and National Police Clearance or the ability to obtain (WWC).

The following essential criteria must be addressed in your cover letter:
Substantial experience in an administrative role involving coordination of technology-driven administration systems and structures.
Experience in data management and manipulation, including use of formulas in MS Excel and data extraction to facilitate mail merges in MS Word.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and to manage several tasks concurrently.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
The ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively as a member of a busy team.
