About the role
We are currently seeking aTalent and Development Specialistto join the wider People and Capability team in our Perth office.
This is an amazing opportunity reporting to the Manager: Talent and Capability; for a 6-month fixed term offering on a part-time, 3 days per week roster (office days can be flexible).
Role Purpose
The Talent & Development Specialist is accountable for delivering and enhancing key Talent and Capability initiatives that build organisational capability, support talent planning, and promote employee wellbeing.
The Talent & Capability team supports succession planning, facilitates the AGAA Graduate and Vacation Student Programs, and leads wellbeing projects that align with organisational priorities and compliance obligations.
This role works collaboratively with the team on these key work priorities while working with stakeholders to maintain progress on Talent and Capability projects.
This person plays a key role in supporting operational delivery across our talent and succession programs.
Key Responsibilities
The implementation of the annual talent planning processes
Maintaining talent pools and process documentation
Promotion and support of wellbeing, culture and psychosocial health and safety projects, depending on annual business priorities
Scope, track and report on Talent Projects as required
Engagement and communications with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business needs and compliance
Continuously improve AGA's talent and capability processes to promote best practice and ensure business and individual needs are met
About You
Tertiary qualification in HR, Organisational Psychology or similar will be highly desirable
Experience held in People and Capability and/or specialisation in Talent and Development operations
Knowledge of psychosocial health and safety best practice
Experience in supporting the design, development and delivery of projects to improve organisational performance
Advanced skills in MS Office suite
Knowledge of Success Factors or similar systems would be advantageous
Strong organisational, administrative and coordination skills along with a high attention to detail
