Overview
Landscape Elements is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscape Construction Leading Hand to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role based in Perth WA, you will play a vital role in overseeing the successful delivery of landscaping projects for our valued clients.
Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise a small team of landscape construction workers to ensure projects are completed to the highest standard and within agreed timelines
* Coordinate with site supervisors for the efficient allocation of labour, equipment and materials, to maximise productivity and minimise waste
* Work closely with the site supervisors to complete jobs with a small team onsite
* Troubleshoot any on-site issues that may arise and provide practical solutions to keep projects on track
* Mentor and upskill junior team members to develop their capabilities
* Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations
* Assist the site supervisor in maintaining detailed records of project progress, timesheets and material usage
Qualifications
* Substantial experience (1+ years) as a Landscape Construction Leading Hand or similar supervisory role in the Landscaping industry
* Thorough knowledge of landscape construction techniques, materials and equipment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a team
* Strong problem-solving abilities and a solutions-focused mindset
* Keen attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
* Current driver's licence and Construction Induction Card (or willingness to obtain)
