Job Opportunity
This role is a high-level sales position that involves representing the company's heavy equipment to users within the construction & earthmoving equipment market.
The primary objective of this position is to find, open and develop new sales opportunities within the construction, civil and mining equipment market across Queensland.
* Developing new and existing sales opportunities with a Direct-to-Market approach across the region.
* Developing sales opportunities within civil construction, agriculture, mining, underground, Government, Ports and more.
* Working in with Business Development Managers to expand and develop new market opportunities.
* Traveling to sites around the state conducting sales meetings and attending other sales events.
* Working with company directives, strategies and towards development objectives.
* Collaborating with colleagues to implement and develop sales strategies and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Sales Representative experience selling Mobile Earthmoving and Construction Equipment or other related equipment.
* Experience and exposure within the civil construction, mining, underground, Government, Ports or similar markets within the Queensland territory.
* Experience finding, developing and closing sales opportunities.
* Relationships within civil, mining, underground, and similar markets are highly regarded.
* Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
* A proven sales history with a hunger for sales.
* Long-term relationship growth & management skills.
* Willingness to travel within the state when required.
* A valid driver's license and Australian citizenship or permanent residency are essential.
Benefits Package
This opportunity offers a remuneration package including a starting salary of $110,000-$140,000 per year, commissions, vehicle, super, laptop, phone etc. Additionally, there are long-term career development opportunities available.
