Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Business Advisory team in Adelaide. This role is responsible for delivering accounting and tax solutions to clients, including preparing financial statements and providing regular management reporting and business advice.
About the Role
As a Senior Accountant, you will collaborate closely with Managers and Directors to deliver quality accounting, tax, and business advice to clients. You will provide guidance and review the work of junior team members, fostering a high-performing working environment and delivering exceptional outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Producing financial reports using Xero and MYOB, maintaining client accounting and reporting systems
* Preparing and reviewing individual, company, trust, and partnership financial statements and tax returns, as well as BASs for complex clients
* Preparing budgets, management accounts, and cash flow forecasts across various entity structures and industries, involving regular client meetings to discuss
* Assisting with coaching and development of junior colleagues
Required Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will be a CA or CPA qualified accountant (or working towards), with relevant tertiary qualifications and experience within a public practice accounting firm. You will demonstrate strong technical accounting knowledge to review work and provide quality solutions for clients. Ideally, you will be driven, a strong collaborator, and possess solid taxation knowledge.
