**TEN Recruitment **are currently working alongside a prominent mine camp contractor to resource for a highly motivated
**Construction Manager**. This fulltime, permanent position will see the successful applicant managing the full site operations on a new mine camp project in the North West.
**Your responsibilities may include**:
- Guide the project team to completion within the given deadlines.
- Deliver scope of works in accordance with the project schedule.
- Adhere to all safety conditions, procedures and protocols.
- Lead your team to success and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
- Monitor project progress, set deadlines, programs, cost controls and schedules.
- Overcome and communicate issues that arise, including dispute resolution.
- Efficient and profitable management of all aspects of the project.
- Interpret engineering drawings and documentation for field staff.
- Managed a team of Supervisors & Engineers.
- Develop strong and meaningful client relationships.
- Accurately monitor production and record daily costs.
**Essential criteria**:
- Previous experience delivering mine camp construction projects would be preferrable.
- Hold tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Civil Engineering or another relevant field.
- Ability to understand and interpret complex engineering documents and drawings for field personnel.
- Able to optimize project targets by monitoring financial outcomes.
- Perform a high level of procurement, scheduling, planning and quality assurance control functions.
- Capable of providing engineering, planning and technical assistance to the wider team.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication.
- Ability to engage and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
This opportunity would be working on a 2/1 roster with a salary package around $180k / $190k plus super.
