Role overview

We are hiring a full time Sales Development (Setting) Team Lead to lead and grow our team of SDRs (setters). This role is the critical bridge between marketing and sales, ensuring a steady flow of high quality, sales qualified opportunities for our closers.

You will manage the day to day rhythm of the setting team, including coaching, training, and performance management, while also developing strategies to optimise outreach, lead qualification, and booking rates. You will track KPIs closely, refine scripts and workflows, and work hand in hand with both marketing and sales leadership to ensure alignment across the funnel.

This is a leadership role suited to a high performing SDR/Setter who has proven success in appointment setting or sales development and is ready to step up to lead, train, and inspire others.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, coach, and motivate the SDR/Setting team to consistently achieve booking and qualification targets
- Run daily huddles, call reviews, pipeline check ins, and weekly team meetings
- Hire, onboard, and ramp recent SDRs with clear certification and training plans
- Develop, test, and optimise scripts, outreach frameworks, and playbooks
- Monitor lead flow, follow up speed, and conversion from lead to qualified appointment
- Track and report on key KPIs, including booking rates, show rates, conversion rates, and pipeline contribution
- Provide structured coaching and feedback through call reviews and 1 to 1 sessions
- Collaborate with marketing to ensure campaigns generate high quality leads aligned to ICP
- Partner with the Closing Team Lead to ensure seamless handoff of qualified appointments
- Drive CRM discipline, ensuring accurate notes, statuses, and next steps
- Foster a collaborative, high performance culture focused on accountability, learning, and results

Who You Are

- A proven SDR/Setter with 2 to 3+ years of experience and a track record of exceeding booking/qualification targets
- Experienced in mentoring or leading SDRs, with strong coaching and feedback skills
- Skilled in prospecting strategies, multi channel outreach, and consultative qualification conversations
- Data driven and organised, comfortable working with KPIs and optimising workflows
- Strong communicator, both written and verbal, with excellent collaboration skills
- Calm, confident, and empathetic, able to motivate and hold standards simultaneously
- Based in Australia with full time availability
- Passionate about empowering women and helping product based businesses succeed
