Teaching Opportunity at a Christian School
We are seeking applications from qualified primary teachers who are enthusiastic, have excellent interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to Christian schooling.
This full-time or part-time position will commence in January 2026. We offer a supportive primary teaching team, reduced teaching load and mentoring for early career teachers, professional development, and access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
About the Role
We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate excellent teaching as described by the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers, with the ability to improve student learning and wellbeing outcomes, receive feedback on their teaching and implement changes, and support an explicit instruction approach to teaching based in a knowledge-rich curriculum.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to diverse learning needs
* Assess and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback
* Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum programs
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A current Employee Working with Children Check
* NESA accreditation (or be eligible)
* An active Christian faith, suitable tertiary qualifications, and experience in a similar setting
