This role requires a collaborative style working closely with our people, Managers / Supervisor and client project leaders to uphold standards and expectations across multiple work fronts. The successful candidates will be proactive in participating in incident and event investigations; and determining HSEQ solutions.
The site HSEQT Advisor will report to the HSEQT Manager and be responsible for:
* Working with project and line management to assist with the implementation of the company's HSEQT Management Plan
* Liaising with client representatives to ensure all compliance documentation is current and correct in consultation with Site Leadership
* Monitoring site activities for compliance with HSEMP system
* Delivering onsite training and ensuring adherence to our clients HSEQ requirements
* Participating in HSE investigations
* Conducting pre-start toolbox meetings & RTW and facilitate training when required
* Promoting HSE awareness across the site and provide visible site safety leadership
* Inputting and analysing safety data, statistics and creating reports
* Coaching & Mentoring team members
The successful candidate shall possess:
* Tertiary qualifications in health and safety (minimum Cert IV) TAE
* Incident investigation qualifications (ICAM / Taproot Investigation Training)
* Valid First Aid qualifications
* Training and Assessment qualifications (minimum Cert IV essential)
* OHS Construction Industry Card
* 4WD Certificate (Desirable)
* RIO Tinto Inductions (Desirable)
* Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office and safety reporting software)
* Minimum 4 years' experience as a HSEQT Advisor or equivalent in mining/civil industry
* Drivers Licence
Required To:
* Pass pre-employment medical & Drug & Alcohol screening
* Hold a current National Police Certificate (within 3 months)
* Have FIFO experience (highly regarded)

* Permanent position
* Fly-in fly-out 8:6 roster from Perth
* 6 Full days at home
* Rio Sites
