The teaching position requires a suitably qualified primary school teacher who is committed to the ethos of Catholic Parish Primary schools. VIT registration is essential. The position will begin on 6 October 2025 (start of Term 4). This is initially a contract position with the view to becoming a permanent position in 2026.
This role suits a teacher who believes in: delivering a curriculum inspired by the Gospel teachings of Jesus Christ with Religious Education at its centre; building positive and professional relationships with colleagues, students, parents and parish; student-centred learning and teaching; collaborative planning with leaders; ongoing professional dialogue informed by current research; and a contemporary, personalized approach to learning and teaching using technology to improve student engagement. A differentiated approach to the curriculum and the use of student data to inform planning are expected, with an inquiry-based approach to personalise learning.
Special Requirements: You must adhere to the Our Lady\'s Child Safe Policy and Code of Conduct. You must be accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school or commit to achieving accreditation. At all times promote and support the Catholic identity and ethos of the school.
