Salary: Teacher, $88,178 - $127,737 per annum (pro‐ra)
This is a 3 month fixed‐term full‐time position commencing Term 3, 2026 with possible extension and/or permanency.
Responsibilities
The successful applicant will cultivate a safe and accountable learning environment, underpinning Lesmurdie SHS core values: Curiosity, Aspiration, Respect and Environment. They will work collaboratively with all members of the school and wider community to provide quality educational experiences through promoting the school's vision and strategic directions. The role involves teaching Year 7 and Year 8 Digital Technologies, Year 8 Media, and Year 10 Photography, Film & Television, with a focus on engaging students and relating learning to real‐world contexts.
Qualifications & Experience
* Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
* Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start.
* Demonstrated experience in Digital Technologies teaching, knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum for Technologies, and ability to facilitate independent and confident learners.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with capacity to build positive relationships with students, staff and community.
* Ability to adapt teaching to diverse learning styles and to employ digital platforms to enhance student achievement.
