YOUR ROLE
You'll play a key role in managing the storage, distribution, and maintenance of explosive ordnance, supporting the ADF's operational readiness across Australia.
This is a hands-on leadership role, working closely with the Site Manager and regional leadership to ensure depot efficiency, compliance, and safety.
Liaise with customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to maintain high service levels.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
* Certificate IV in Frontline Management (or ability to obtain)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrated team leadership experience in logistics, warehousing, or a related environment
* Experience within the defence environment would be highly advantageous
Key responsibilities include:
* Supervise and coordinate storage, distribution, and maintenance teams to achieve KPIs
* Maintain compliance with explosive limits, security, and regulatory requirements
* Lead and participate in stocktake reconciliations, discrepancy investigations, and emergency control activities
* Support staff training, development, and performance management
* Ensure depot operations adhere to Thales' safety, environmental, and quality standards
