The Opportunity
Our Lysaght business is looking for an Operations Technician to join the Production Team based in Tamworth. Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation, from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes to large commercial and industrial projects.
Our Technicians play a vital role in our production environment. They are multi-skilled, operate different types of machinery to create smarter solutions for our customers, monitor product quality, and handle pick & packing of orders for customer service, all while remaining committed to safety and teamwork.
Working Conditions
This role is Monday to Friday, with ongoing training and support to develop your skills and explore future career opportunities.
What Will You Do?
This diverse role offers variety each day, allowing you to showcase your skills that impact safety and product quality. Your responsibilities include:
Operating forklifts, gantry cranes, and processing machinery
Safely preloading and unloading products from trucks
Safely packing and strapping steel products on-site to create specific orders
Supporting the team with general tasks

You are reliable and dedicated, with a willingness to learn and develop. You will also have:
Experience in a similar operating environment
A willingness to undertake forklift training and obtain the relevant license
A positive attitude and desire for career progression
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
