About this Role
* Key Responsibilities:
* Assess patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions in both the Health Care Unit and housing units, contributing to individualized treatment planning.
* Implement treatment programs directed by Health Care Practitioners, administering medications, including IV therapy (if certified), and performing diagnostic tests according to established protocols and procedures.
* Collaborate in controlled substance counts at the beginning of each shift, adhering to safety techniques, procedures, and standard precautions while responding to codes or health emergencies within standard guidelines.
* Attend mandatory staff meetings and training sessions, demonstrating a commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to policies and procedures in providing high-quality patient care.
Requirements
* Education:
* Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
* Experience:
* Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience.
* Licenses/Certifications:
* Have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
