This branch is currently seeking an EL1 Program manager to join their dynamic and supportive team to work on this government reform agenda.
**Your new role**

Key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Providing high level policy and program advice and briefings, including to the Minister and Executive.
- Producing accurate and timely written documentation, including briefs, submissions and specialist papers.
- Communicating proactively and effectively, including through representing the department at internal and external forums, to achieve positive outcomes for the program and stakeholders.
- Coordinating and overseeing procedural tasks, including financial modelling and data analysis; and the gathering, distillation and finalisation of evidence to support recommendations to the Secretary's delegate.
- Supervising and supporting APS level team members, including guiding on program implementation and processes.
- Working with mínimal supervision, under broad direction, to resolve issues and deliver quality outcomes in a timely way.
- Considering and effectively managing competing priorities, and contributing to the strategic direction of the program, including work and resource planning, in line with agency goals and objectives.
- Undertaking work activities with an awareness of their possible impact on strategic, political or operational outcomes for the program, branch, division and Government.
- Provide quality assurance and undertake complex analysis tasks.
As you will be engaging and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally, well-developed communication skills with the ability to foster professional relationships whilst building rapport and trust is a must.

- Experience in Program Management role.
- Demonstrated analytical and strategic thinking capability.
- High quality written communication skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Very good verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyse more complex data and information.
To be considered for this role you must be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance at the Baseline level or higher.
