**Your new role**:
As BAE's services increase in supporting the Joint Strike Fighter F35 program, F-35 Production Support is expanding their team and seek an experienced Production Planner with background in aviation maintenance planning, coming from Defence aviation or a relevant aviation background.
**About you**:
You will have had experience with the operation of aviation production planning systems, including its ongoing development and maintenance including influence on service design changes to the mission system.
You will have demonstrated experience achieving project technical, scheduling and costing goals, as well as providing technical expertise to the business including mentoring to other team members.
**In this positon you will**:
- Support Depot Event Induction and Delivery processes in line with F35 Program requirements
- In consultation with the key stakeholders, plan the embodiment of Air Vehicle modifications in line with the Depot Flow Plan
- Ensure all work packages are planned and scheduled in an efficient, logical and repeatable sequence taking into account all critical tasks and project controls.
- Provide oversight of the Configuration Management System ensuring adherence to the F-35 Configuration Management Plan.
- Provide weekly status reporting for all F-35 depot events.
- Ensure that expendables, consumables, LRU's, support equipment and tooling are identified to carry out planned work.
- Develop and improve standard procedures to ensure that the planning function operates effectively and meets organisation requirements.
- Liaise with external suppliers to meet planning requirements.
**As an applicant for this opportunity, you'll have**:
- Demonstrated experience in Operational Support (essential)
- Demonstrated experience in aerospace or a related technical industry (highly desirable)
- Diploma OR Formal trade or technical certificate qualification in Engineering and/or equivalent industry experience
