Work Health and Safety Leader Role
Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga is seeking a Work Health and Safety Leader to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years' experience in a health and safety role, with demonstrated expertise in developing, implementing, and reviewing Work Health and Safety Management Systems.
* Develop and implement a comprehensive Work Health and Safety Management System that aligns with legislative requirements and industry best practices.
* Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
* Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and leaders on Work Health and Safety matters.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to promote a safe and healthy work environment and proactive safety culture.
* Stay up-to-date with changing legislation and regulatory requirements and ensure the organisation's compliance.
Requirements:
* Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a health and safety role.
* Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and reviewing Work Health and Safety Management Systems.
* Ability to analyse, interpret, and apply legislation, standards, policies, and procedures.
* Highly developed communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills, including sound conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
* Advanced computer software skills.
* Qualifications in Work Health and Safety and/or extensive practical work history.
