Weddings and Events Floor Manager Job Summary
This is a leadership role focused on managing front-of-house operations during events. The successful candidate will oversee service staff, manage event flow, and ensure a seamless experience for guests.
* Greet and assist guests upon arrival.
* Address guest enquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
* Ensure clients have everything they need throughout the event.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in leadership roles, exceptional interpersonal skills, and strong organisational abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Guest Experience:
o Provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
o Ensure that our clients have everything they need throughout the event.
2. Event Execution:
o Monitor the event flow to ensure a smooth experience.
o Work under the direction of the wedding/event coordinator during the first part of the event.
o Take full responsibility for running the floor and ensuring the remainder of the event runs smoothly.
3. Problem Resolution:
o Handle any issues or challenges that arise during the event with a calm and solution-oriented approach.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in leadership front-of-house roles in hospitality or events.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle unexpected situations gracefully.
