About The Role
The Administration Assistant/Receptionist provides a professional, courteous, and customer-focused reception and administrative support service to residents, families, staff, and members of the public.
Key responsibilities include:
Greeting all visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
Answering telephone calls promptly and courteously, directing them appropriately, including dialling external numbers as requested.
Providing efficient word processing and clerical services as directed by the relevant manager.
Maintaining accurate records of visitors and contractors.
Providing administrative support to staff as needed.
Accurately receipting all incoming monies and assisting with resident trust accounts and petty cash.
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation in collaboration with the Administration Coordinator.

About You

The successful candidate will possess:
Previous experience in a reception/administrative role, with knowledge of office procedures including handling and accurately receipting money.
A commitment to continuous improvement, creativity, innovation, and resident-focused service.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
Ability to build strong internal relationships and contribute positively to team dynamics.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with in-house databases and software applications.
Basic knowledge of the Aged Care Standards relevant to the role.
A Certificate in Administrative Services or similar - desirable.
