Are you an experienced technician with leadership experience? An exciting opportunity for an experiecned Service Manager to leverage your technical and leadership skills to lead and grow the service & workshop division in an amusement equipment industry leader.
**About the Role**
- Leading a team of technicians in the workshop and field service department, you'll add value through:
- Manage the commissioning and installation of new and used amusement games so that they are ready to be enjoyed.
- Manage & control the scheduling of field repairs and maintenance for amusement game machines at entertainment venues, cinemas, corporations and homes.
- Develop KPIs, measure and control outcomes. Report to management at specified intervals.
- Manage the warehouse and workshop to refurbish used amusement and arcade games.
- You are the ambassador of first impressions with a customer for service and maintenance. You will field incoming inquiries and will facilitate solutions to create a win win.
- Liaise with international suppliers to obtain technical data/insights how best to commission machines and to provide R&D assistance with testing the latest amusement games.
- Manage the costs and revenue of the department, assisting with planning future resources and requirements.
- Lead and manage the workshop manager and the workshop team of service and workshop technicians.
- Identify and implement process and procedure improvements to assist with the efficient and effective completion of work.
**About You**
You're a stickler for details and have built your own processes and systems to ensure nothing is missed from a complex installation or routine maintenance check. Because you're driven by customer satisfaction, you're not afraid to challenge someone else's assessment if you believe they've missed something. Equally, your ability to add extra value to a customers' service via proactive maintenance or influencing an upgrade, is something that excites you. You will develop insights to determine when parts are due to wear out and work with spare parts team to ensure stock is available for when the customer seeks a replacement.
**Selection Criteria**
Whilst you'll be given training on the machines themselves, you'll need to tick the list below to be successful in this role:
- Experience installing, servicing and repairing machinery or electrical equipment
- Experience leading a team
- Experience in scheduling internal and external jobs and tasks in order of importance, for smooth day to day, and weekly operations.
