Key Responsibilities
- Provide a high standard of cleaning services
- Operate in line with infection control standards and WHS policies and procedures
- Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients
- Act in accordance with manual handling protocols
- Assist the wider hospital teams to ensure patient satisfaction
- Demonstrate professional practice according to Healthscope’s policies, code of conduct and participate in annual performance appraisals and mandatory education
- Maintain skills and standards of customer service and ensure patient confidentiality and privacy is maintained
- Support Healthscope’s safety and quality improvements in all aspects of safety including Work Health & Safety
What You'll Need To Succeed
- Demonstrated experience as a cleaner or infectious cleaning specialist in a hospital, aged care or medical setting
- Enthusiasm, drive and passion to prepare and maintain the work area to a high standard
- Time management skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to commit to versatile working Monday to Sunday on a rotating roster including afternoon, evening and occasional night shifts
