**About the Role:**
This is a casual position where you can create a safe and supportive home environment for at-risk youth. Your responsibilities will include fostering independence, promoting growth, and delivering trauma-informed care.
**Key Responsibilities:
1. Create a nurturing environment, promoting emotional well-being and safety.
2. Support daily living activities, such as personal care, meals, and hygiene.
3. Ensure young people attend school, appointments, and community activities through facilitated transportation.
4. Promote skill development and socialisation within the local community.
5. Manage health needs, administer medications, and maintain accurate reporting.
6. Deliver trauma-informed care, supporting youth with complex behaviours.
**Requirements:**
Hold a Certificate IV in Youth Work or equivalent qualification.
Have a minimum of 6 months' experience in Residential Youth Services.
Demonstrated experience in supporting challenging behaviours.
Hold an Australian Driver's License (SA), P2 or higher.
Possess a Working With Children Check.
Be available to work across various shifts.
Holds or willing to obtain required certifications, including Child Safe Environments, Child Car Restraints, and First Aid & CPR.
