Educator Opportunity – Out of School Hours Care (Hastings)

At MACSEYE, we believe childhood should be filled with curiosity, creativity, and connection. Our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) program in Hastings is growing — and we're searching for passionate educators who want to inspire, support, and make a real difference in children's lives.

The Opportunity

We have both permanent and casual shifts available to suit your lifestyle. Whether you're just starting your journey in education or bringing years of experience, you'll find a place where you can learn, grow, and thrive.

Hours

Mornings: 7:00 am – 9:00 am

Afternoons: 3:15 pm – 6:00 pm

Job Description

Your Role as an Educator

Create Safe and Inspiring Spaces

Design environments where children feel secure, supported, and motivated to explore and learn.

Plan Engaging Experiences

Lead hands-on, fun, and creative activities that spark curiosity, imagination, and a love of learning.

Build Strong Connections

Develop positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, fostering a welcoming, community-focused environment.

Champion Wellbeing and Growth

Support each child's social, emotional, and developmental needs while promoting overall wellbeing.

Collaborate and Innovate

Work closely with your team to co-create programs that reflect children's interests, ideas, and voices.


Qualifications

What You'll Bring

* A genuine passion for working with children

* A warm, collaborative approach with strong communication skills

* Cert III (or higher) in an ACECQA recognised qualification (or currently studying)

* Valid First Aid, CPR, WWCC, and Australian work rights (or able to obtain these)
