We are seeking a talented Mid to Senior Interior Designer to join our team, with a strong background in multi‐residential and hotel projects. This role is ideal for someone with 6+ years' experience who enjoys taking ownership of smaller projects, working with a high degree of autonomy while collaborating closely with senior designers and architectural teams.
Role
As a Mid–Senior Interior Designer, you will be responsible for delivering thoughtful, well‐resolved design solutions from concept through to delivery. You'll work directly with clients, consultants, and suppliers, translating briefs into high‐quality design outcomes that balance creativity, functionality, and buildability.
Opportunities

Key Responsibilities
* Lead client briefings and develop design concepts, mood boards, and material palettes
* Produce and refine detailed interior design documentation, including FF&E and finishes schedules
* Coordinate closely with architects, consultants, and suppliers to ensure integrated design outcomes
* Prepare and manage formal submissions for client and authority approvals
* Oversee design intent through documentation, tender, and construction phases
* Conduct site inspections and respond to design queries, variations, and site issues
* Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, accessibility requirements, and safety standards
* Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and proactive problem solving
* Mentor and support junior team members where appropriate
* Location is either in Brisbane or Melbourne, only one role will be filled.
About You
You're an experienced Interior Designer who is confident, organised, and comfortable managing your own workflow. You bring both design flair and technical rigour, and you enjoy seeing projects through from concept to completion.
What You'll Bring
* Minimum 6 years' professional experience in interior design, minimum 3 years experience in Australia.
* Strong experience in multi‐residential projects; hotel/hospitality experience highly regarded
* Ability to work autonomously on smaller projects while collaborating on larger ones
* High‐level proficiency in Revit, plus Enscape and Adobe InDesign
* Strong skills in space planning, material selection, and FF&E specification
* A solid understanding of Australian building codes and interior standards
* Excellent communication skills and a professional approach to client engagement
