Job Description
As a skilled nursing professional, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to residents in our residential aged care home. You will work closely with the Care Manager and other team members to deliver person-centered care that meets the unique needs of each resident.
The successful candidate will have a kind heart and genuine passion for providing exceptional care to the elderly. They will possess current AHPRA registration and a thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards. Strong clinical knowledge, coaching/training skills, effective conflict resolution skills, strong communication skills, and emotional intelligence are also essential qualities for this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A degree in Nursing or a related field
* Current AHPRA registration
* Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
* Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
* Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process
* Coaching/training skills
* Effective conflict resolution skills
* Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence
