Ecommerce Operations Manager (Remote Work)
Potty Buddy is a growing online pet brand specialising in dog waste management products, with a large customer base in Australia and the United States. We are seeking a highly capable Ecommerce Operations Manager to join our team.
This is a full-time remote role with a business based in Perth. As the Ecommerce Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the success and growth of our online business by overseeing and optimising all aspects of ecommerce operations.
Core Responsibilities
Store & Merchandising
Platforms: Shopify, Warehousing Systems, Alibaba
Manage and optimise our Shopify store to ensure a seamless customer experience and operational efficiency
Oversee all ecommerce processes, including order fulfilment, inventory management, product content, and customer service
Manage inventory purchasing and logistics with suppliers and freight forwarders
Analyse ecommerce data to identify opportunities for improvement and support strategic decision-making
Manage our Google Merchant Center and Facebook Shop to ensure product visibility and alignment with Shopify merchandising
Website Maintenance & Optimisation
Platforms: Shopify, A/B Testing Tools
Ensure the ongoing functionality and performance of our Shopify stores (currently US and AU)
Plan and execute CRO initiatives to improve CR, AOV, LTV, and upsell performance
Collaborate with the Founder to plan and execute on-site promotions
Collaborate with the Founder to develop and launch landing pages
Manage and maintain Shopify apps and integrations
Ensure accurate tracking, data flows, and platform integrations
Keep website content up to date across promotions, product launches, and pricing
Content Production & Blog
Platforms: Shopify
Collaborate with SEO agencies and content writers to maintain a consistent publishing schedule
Plan and manage content production using AI tools, photographers, videographers, and UGC creators
Email & SMS Marketing
Work with the Ecommerce Specialist to deliver weekly campaigns and monthly promotions aligned with the overall strategy
Monitor and optimise key CRM metrics to maintain list health and performance
Plan and execute A/B tests to improve engagement, conversion, and retention
Business Growth & Optimisation
Platforms: Shopify
Collaborate with the Founder to expand into new markets and launch new products
Identify and implement tools, systems, and processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and drive revenue growth
Monitor competitor activity and industry trends across UX/UI, merchandising, and ecommerce strategy
What We're Looking For
Minimum 5 years' experience in ecommerce operations or management
Proven track record of managing and scaling Shopify store(s)
Experience managing an team of ecommerce professionals
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated revenue growth impact
Advanced proficiency in Shopify (front-end and back-end)
Advanced proficiency in Klaviyo or similar CRM platform (audiences, flows, campaigns)
Excellent project management and organisational skills
Proficiency with common ecommerce tools and high adaptability to new technologies
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Australian work rights are required for this position
