About the role
We have an exciting new opportunity for a data driven Marketing Automation & Data Analyst to support the delivery, optimisation, and measurement of Online Traffic and CRM led marketing activity.
This role is ideal for someone with around 2 years' experience working with an online marketing automation or CRM platform such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Salesforce, who enjoys building automated customer journeys, analysing performance, and turning data into actionable insight.
You will work closely with Marketing, Sales, and CRM stakeholders to improve segmentation, customer lifecycle programmes, and campaign effectiveness through smart automation and robust data analysis.
This is a key role as we continue to grow, where you will own and manage marketing data as the single source of truth, ensuring high data quality across all campaigns. You will design and optimise automated customer journeys across digital channels to drive engagement, conversion, and retention. Deliver actionable insights through data analysis and reporting, enabling data-driven decision-making. Develop robust segmentation to support targeted, personalised marketing, and continuously improve performance through testing and optimisation.
Please note that this is a Hybrid role with onsite requirement 3 days a week. You must be able to commute to the office and have your own transport.
What you'll do
Marketing Automation & CRM
* Build, maintain, and optimise automated customer journeys, nurture programmes, and triggered communications within CRM/marketing automation platforms (e.g. Dynamics 365).
* Support the design and execution of customer lifecycle programmes, from acquisition and onboarding through to retention and re engagement
* Ensure data flows, campaign logic, and automations are accurate, efficient, and scalable
Data Analysis & Insight
* Analyse campaign, journey, and lifecycle performance to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimisation.
* Produce regular and ad hoc reports and dashboards covering key KPIs such as engagement, conversion, lead progression, and ROI.
* Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for marketing and sales stakeholders.
Segmentation & Targeting
* Create and manage meaningful customer and prospect segments using behavioural, firmographic, and engagement data.
* Support targeted, relevant campaign execution by ensuring audiences are accurately defined and maintained.
* Continuously refine segmentation approaches to improve relevance and performance.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
* Work closely with Marketing, Sales, and CRM teams to align automation and data insights with commercial objectives.
* Support testing and optimisation initiatives (e.g. A/B testing, journey refinements).
* Contribute to improving data quality, reporting processes, and marketing analytics capability over time.
What we are looking for?
Essential:
* Around 2 years' experience in a marketing, CRM, or data focused role.
* Hands on experience with a CRM or marketing automation platform (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, or similar).
* Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret performance data and identify insights.
* Experience with segmentation, customer journeys, and lifecycle based marketing.
* Confident working with spreadsheets, reports, and dashboards.
* Strong attention to detail and a logical, structured approach to problem solving.
* Analytical and curious, with a genuine interest in how data drives better marketing outcomes.
* Organised and methodical, able to manage multiple campaigns or automations simultaneously.
* Collaborative and communicative, comfortable working with both technical and non technical stakeholders.
* Proactive, with a desire to learn and continuously improve marketing automation capability.
Desirable:
* Experience in a B2B marketing environment.
* Exposure to reporting or visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, CRMreports/dashboards).
* Understanding of lead management, funnels, and CRM to sales handover processes.
* Basic knowledge of data governance or data quality best practices.
