About Us
Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is an exceptional environment to advance your career while enhancing your skills and expertise. As a recognised leader in the healthcare industry, we deliver a comprehensive range of public health services across the Nepean, Blue Mountains, and Lithgow Regions.
About the Unit
Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital is an acute hospital that supports a population of approximately 80,000 and is the only ANZAC Memorial hospital remaining in NSW. Easily accessible to Sydney residents, our team of clinicians, allied health, and support staff works with the community on a shared goal to maintain the delivery of high-quality healthcare in the Blue Mountains region.
Nestled within the grounds of the Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital in Katoomba, the 15‐bed Blue Mountains Mental Health Unit (BMMHU) offers compassionate, trauma‐informed, and recovery‐focused psychiatric care. The team delivers flexible and innovative models of support designed to meet the complex needs of adults living with mental illness, helping prevent relapse, strengthen independence, and enhance community participation. With a strong commitment to collaboration, the BMMHU works closely with individuals, their families, and carers to create a safe, empowering environment where recovery can truly take shape.
The Blue Mountains Mental Health Unit is looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Enrolled Nurse to join our welcoming team. In this role, you'll be part of a supportive environment where safe, person‐centred care is at the heart of everything we do. Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you'll provide meaningful care activities aligned with individual nursing care plans and your Enrolled Nurse scope of practice. You'll also play an important part in gathering accurate health information and ensuring documentation is completed with care, helping us maintain the highest standards of clinical practice.
If you're someone who brings empathy, curiosity, and a commitment to making a real difference in mental health care, we'd love to welcome you into our team. Apply Now!
