Burnie Community House – Shorewell Park TAS
Overview
The aim is to give greater access to fresh locally grown vegetables to the community. We also sell basic pantry items from the co‐op. The main tasks are planting new vegetables and herbs, maintenance and harvesting of vegetables for the co‐op, and staffing the co‐op. The market farm and community co‐op will also contribute to new and exciting weekly cooking classes at Burnie Community House for adults during school hours and for kids during school holidays.
