About the role
• You will join a team of Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Allied Health Assistants in a transdisciplinary early intervention service based in Tamworth
• As a senior therapist you will provide supervision to younger therapists and students and work along side other senior therapists
• Utlising a family centered practice model, you will provide services to children aged 0-18 years
• Scope to build the caseload you want with opportunities to be a part of projects and extend skills in special interest areas
• Provision of your own phone and laptop
• Sports or recreation commitments? Kids assemblies or pick up? Flexible and family orientated in both service provision and work-life balance.
What’s on offer
• Above award salary + 12.5% superannuation
• 4 weeks annual leave plus additional 3 days over Christmas period
• Up to $10,000 in paid PD through the RDN and 5 days paid PD leave (pro rata)
• Clinically developed supervision models to suit new graduates and experiences therapists and altered to meet individual learning needs provided by our experiences clinicians in house.
• Fortnightly team meetings and quarterly in house PD and team building days.
• 9 day fortnight for full time employee's
Selection Criteria
• Bachelors degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration
• Driver’s license and access to own reliable vehicle
• NSW WWCC and ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
• Knowledge of the NDIS or willingness to learn
• Demonstrated ability working with children and families in home and school settings
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with relevant parties at a high level
