Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Digital Identity Director to lead new business generation across Australia and New Zealand. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy that drives growth in the region.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in enterprise sales within digital identity, cybersecurity, or compliance technology. They will have demonstrated success selling into AU/NZ Government (Federal and State) and regulated industries like Banking/Finance/Travel.
The role involves owning and leading the full sales cycle from prospecting to close across Government and BFSI sectors in AU/NZ. It also requires strategically managing and growing the ATO relationship, aligning with federal digital identity priorities.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to close across Government and BFSI sectors in AU/NZ
* Strategically manage and grow the ATO relationship, aligning with federal digital identity priorities
* Map the market, research opportunities, and build trusted relationships with stakeholders across public and private sectors
* Position iProov as a trusted partner to C-level, security, innovation, and procurement leaders
* Collaborate with global colleagues (product, pre-sales, marketing, legal) to drive regional success
* Identify and engage local channel and alliance partners to support sales execution
* Represent iProov at regional industry events, roundtables, and government forums
* Contribute to ANZ go-to-market strategy, pricing, and positioning based on market feedback
* Ensure pipeline health and accurate forecasting via CRM and weekly revenue reviews
Requirements
* Proven track record in enterprise sales within digital identity, cybersecurity, or compliance technology
* Demonstrated success selling into AU/NZ Government (Federal and State) and regulated industries like Banking/Finance/Travel
* Strong understanding of AU/NZ procurement processes, government sales cycles, and compliance environments
* Exceptional communicator with experience navigating complex stakeholder landscapes
* Ability to balance new business development with strategic account management
* Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating globally in a scale-up environment
* Experience responding to RFPs, managing long-cycle deals, and influencing multi-million dollar outcomes
* Willingness to travel within AU/NZ
