About the Role
* This is an opportunity for a skilled practitioner to deliver robust assessments, crisis response, and specialist case management services to victim survivors. You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, safe, and effective family violence responses.
Key Responsibilities
* Establish effective relationships with clients that promote self-determination and participation, upholding the principles of the National Family Violence Model of Care.
* Provide specialist FV case management and crisis support to clients in accordance with TSA case management models and standards of practice.
* Ongoing assessment of victim survivor's issues, needs, and circumstances from initial intake to exit.
* Conduct ongoing family and domestic violence risk assessment and safety planning with clients using agreed tools.
* Develop individual case plans in collaboration with victim survivors, including a range of interventions addressing client needs or goals.
* Implement and actively lead case plans led by the victim survivor.
What You Will Bring
* A tertiary qualification in Social Work is essential.
* Experience working in the family violence sector is desirable.
* Experience in specialist family violence and/or child wellbeing work is highly desirable.
* Demonstrated case management experience and skills.
* Highly developed time management and work prioritization skills with an ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision required.
* Advance computer skills, including experience in data and record management.
* Relevant child protection requirements, such as Working with Children Check.
* A national police record check is required.
* Ability and willingness to be on call.
