This is a great opportunity for a motivated Senior Accountant looking to step beyond compliance and develop their advisory capability within a supportive, high-performing team. The Role: Work across a diverse portfolio of SME clients, delivering both compliance and advisory services Preparation of financial statements, tax returns and BAS for a range of entity structures Assisting with business advisory reporting including cashflow forecasting and management reporting Supporting tax planning, structuring and strategic advisory work for clients Assisting with client meetings and ongoing relationship management Reviewing work and mentoring junior accountants where required Be supported by experienced managers and directors Working closely with managers across a varied client portfolio About You: 4 years’ experience in public practice accounting Strong experience preparing financial statements, tax returns and BAS end-to-end Solid understanding of tax, GST and Division 7A Exposure to or interest in business advisory and tax planning Strong communication skills with confidence in client interaction Experience with Xero and/or QuickBooks Proactive, organised and motivated to develop your advisory capability What’s On Offer: Hybrid working arrangement (typically 2–3 days from home) Early Friday finishes (2pm) to support work-life balance Flexible working hours and monthly RDO option Team bonus structure Ongoing training, technical development and structured mentoring from senior leaders Clear career progression within a growing advisory firm Modern, cloud-based systems and efficient workflows Regular team events, social activities and a collaborative team culture Convenient Gold Coast location close to lifestyle amenities This is an opportunity to join a genuinely growing advisory firm where you’ll be supported to build your technical strength and move further into advisory work overtime.
