We currently havean opportunity for the right person/s to undertake a Fitter Machinist Apprenticeship.The successful candidate will be required to complete a Certificate III Mechanical Engineering – Mechanical Trade.In return, you will be exposed to and supported with:Stripping, assessing, repairing, assembling and testing mechanical seals, couplings and associated equipmentManual and CNC machine operationAssisting with root cause analysis investigationsCompleting inspection and test plans consistent with meeting corporate compliance standardsProviding troubleshooting advice and reliability solutionsPreparing repair work quotations, associated documentation and scheduling of jobs for repair.The successful candidate should demonstrate the following:Have a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detailSelf-motivationwith a positive work ethicCommitment to on and off the job trainingA willingness to learn and work within a team environmentStrong commitment to EHSDriver licence and a reliable vehicle would be preferredThis is an exceptional opportunity to obtain your trade qualification whilst earning wages.To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
