Our Mission
We support people to build capacity and reach meaningful outcomes through collaborative, therapeutic care. We deliver this through the provision of Allied Health, Youth Residential, Support Coordination, Lifestyle Support, and Out of Home Care services across South East Queensland.
About the Role
No two days are the same!
As a Lifestyle Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in assisting clients across the Darling Downs region with:
* Personal care and daily living support tailored to individual needs
* Social support, community access, and meaningful engagement
* Implementing behaviour support strategies and responding appropriately to behaviours of concern
* Promoting client autonomy, dignity, and well-being in a supportive environment
* Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care
Work Hours
We provide 24/7 care, and shifts are based on a rotating roster. These may include:
* Day shifts: Monday to Sunday, between 6:00am – 8:00pm
* Short shifts : Ranging from 2 to 6 hours
* Sleepover shifts
* Flexible hours, including early starts from 6:00am
This role begins on a casual basis, with the potential to transition to a part-time contract after a successful 3-month probation period, subject to client matching and consistent shift availability.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Flexible and adaptable to changing needs and schedules
* Calm, confident, and professional in diverse environments
* A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and listening skills
* Eager to learn and committed to ongoing personal development
* Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
* Proven ability to respond to and manage behaviours of concern appropriately
Requirements
* Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability or Aged Care), Community Services, or willingness to complete
* Working with Children Check (Paid) or willingness to obtain
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Paid) or willingness to obtain
* QLD C Class Driver’s Licence with registered and insured vehicle
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificates or willingness to obtain
